Fin

End. A three letter word that can be felt in a thousand and one ways. Depende kasi kung ano ang nag-end. If your are in a date with someone … let’s say Drew Barrymore and it is really going well — you wouldn’t want the date to end. Pero – if you are in a date na mas nanaiisin mo pang sundutin ng karayom ang mata mo multiple times – an ending to the date is a feeling of relief. Kung ikaw naman ay isang student taking a very important exam – at hindi mo pa tapos sagutan lahat – it will feel like the end of the world pag sinabi nang pass your papers… finished or not finished. A couple ending a marriage may mean sadness or pwede rin namang kasiyahan dahil at least matitigil na ang bugbugan.

The ending of Maging Sino Ka Man Book 2 may mean sadness – to avid followers. It may be a reason for celebration for some – dahil finally natapos na rin ang isang teleserye na feeling nila ay overstretched na.. Ako – well it is sad as I like this series… but I also treat is as a new beginning. Nakakalungkot nga na tapos na ito – pero that means may chance that it will be replaced by something better. Anyway – just take this blog entry as the final farewell to MSKM 2. I can only think of one fitting end before moving on to the new – that is to look back at some of the memorable characters and what they have said :

Corazon Roxas Berenguer – I have this soft spot for Corazon. Love her or hate her…. she bought spice to this series. Chin-chin Guttierez potrayed her really well. I love it most when she pretends to be heartless – but deep inside we all know that she has marshmallow heart.

“I felt every ounce of pain and, franky, I don’t care to forget”

Gloria Roxas – she ‘s no Corazon… but I like her nonetheless. She showed unconditional love and compassion. And this made us believe that amidst the anger and the betrayal - love still rules!

“Sino ba may sabing madaling maintindihan ang isang tao? Mahirap. Hanggang ngayon marami pa rin akong hindi maintindihan. Mahirap mong maipaliwanag kung bakit kailangang mong ngumiti, kahit umiiyak ka na pala. Kahit takot na takot ka, sasabihin mo pa rin na matapang ka. Pinapakita mo na masaya ka, pero ang totoo, hindi mo na alam kung ano ang maging masaya. Nakaya mong mag-isa, kompleto ka, kahit alam mo sa puso mo na kulang, may kawalan. Kung minsan ganun ang tao, sinasadya man o hindi, hindi lahat ng pinapakita totoo.”

Onay Dimaano – the eternal optimist. Without her – JB and Celine’s love wouldn’t have come to full circle. She can never replace Celine in JB’s life — but I do believe that there’s a special place for her… just for her in JB’s heart.

“Paano mo pipigilan ang tadhana.? Paano mo isusuko ang pag-ibig na alam mong kayang wasakin ang puso mo…?”

JB Berenguer - he loved… and lost… But I know he will love again. I initially had hesitations on whether Sam Milby can act… but hey.. he proved me wrong. He’s JB to a T. He made JB vulnerable and sensitive without being baduy.

“If she dies, I’ll die with her.”

“If you ask me to stop breathing right now, I will. Look, I love you that much. But if pushing me away makes you happy? Then I’ll go. I’m gone…But I will never stop loving you. Even if you keep breaking my heart into pieces, I will go on loving no one but you.”

“I love you, Celine…I love you beyond words”

Celine Magsaysay – She’s not just a slut …she’s the best slut in town. Actually – she personifies every person I know. No - not the slut part – the person who just wants to love and be loved in return. She did all sorts of crazy thing for love — burned by love… but till the end – she believed in love. Anne Curtis can do no wrong in my book — and being Celine cemented my love for her more.

“May cancer nga ako pero hindi naman ako tanga, kaya pwede mo akong deretsahin! Dahil if you wanna be with that girl then go be with her! If you wanna end this, then we’ll end this! If freedom is what you want, then freedom is what I give you! But just don’t expect me to sit around my ass all day pretending that nothing is wrong when in fact everything in our lives is getting all screwed up!”

“There is no stopping the future JB. I just want our love story to come full circle. I want it to end where I started loving you. Maybe to remind us that it was a good life. And the love, our love, it was the best…”

You might ask – nasaan sina Eli at Jackie? Di mo ba sila labs. Labs din naman. The characters are great … Bea and John Lloyd are believable as husband and wife. I sympathized with them for every “downs” … and celebrated their every “ups”. But hey – let’s face it —- but MSKM2 would be remembered as the series where JB and Celine’s love come in full circle…. And as Celine said…. their love ….it was the best….

Pagkatapos kong maging mushy with my last 4 entries….. I think its time to find my b***s once more and write something that man with b***s would write about… So expect a lot of testosterone driven topics…. A lot of babes insights….. Sports overload…. Or just entries na walang kakwenta-kwenta…. Hmm…. Naisip ko lang… mas malamang sa hindi … mga walang kwentang mga pananaw at pagsusungit ang mga susunod na entries na mababasa nyo. Don’t say that I have not warned you! J
